Overview

The Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic (MYSAR) is a central state organization dedicated to the development and support of the country's youth as a distinct and influential demographic group. MYSAR is also the principal organizer of national sports events and the representative body for Azerbaijani athletes on the international stage. Given its significant role and the presence of numerous subsidiary organizations across various regions, it was essential for the logo to embody minimalism, versatility, and a modern aesthetic.

Solution

Our design approach centered on creating a logo that distills the essence of the ministry's mission into a single, powerful symbol. We chose the abbreviation AZE, representing Azerbaijan, as the core element. This choice reflects national pride and instantly connects the logo with the country’s identity.

To convey the ministry's core values of energy, courage, youthfulness, and dynamism, we employed bold typography and vibrant colors. The strong, clean lines of the typography communicate confidence and forward momentum, while the bright color palette injects a sense of vitality and enthusiasm. The design is both contemporary and timeless, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful across various platforms.

I was instrumental in developing the brand video, which effectively communicated the new identity to the public. Furthermore, I contributed to the implementation of the brand identity across a wide range of materials, ensuring a cohesive and impactful visual presence.
